We can use all the help we can get. If you support our cause and you want to help out, consider volunteering your time with TaraEden.
We have many ways that you can help, so don't assume we have no use for you. Whether you have a strong back and want to help us dig trenches, or you work in an office and you can email your friends and family about our mission, we surely can find a way you can help. We need people to scout for materials, talk to businesses about composting, help us sell our produce, and much more.
If you are availible on sundays, feel free to sign up for one of our 'Dig Days' buy clicking the link below. (don't worry, we won't make you dig if you don't want to. We will find a task that fits you) If you are busy on sundays, but still want to help, click over to our contact page and send us an email with 'volunteer' as the subject and we will discus how you can help.
Take the first step to build a community that works for everyone
As an initial ground floor member you will begin the cooperative effort of transforming two local private homes into examples of Eco friendly living through co-housing, permaculture, aquaponics, natural building, alternative energy, sustainability, and community organization.
Interns and team members work together to create the environment of sustainability. All participants will contribute to said endeavors and will recieve hands-on training and experience through workshops and study time.
Six month, one year, and two year terms available. Intern fee of $350/mo. covers your room and utilities. Interns need a source of revenue for food and personal expenses. (less once our food production is at full capacity after the first 6 month to a year)
Aditional opportunities also available for long term internships. Income sharing options with 2 year commitment.
